NEW TO CAPOEIRA
Our goal is to make you feel comfortable & give you the proper foundation for entering our ongoing classes. The Intro to Capoeira Series will introduce you to the art of Capoeira: an exciting and original workout that comes from the unlikely combination of martial arts, dance, acrobatics and music. Capoeira is not only a form of exercise, it is a rich and multidimensional art that teaches culture, language and music. The classes focus on stretching, conditioning, the fundamental movements of Capoeira, and singing and playing Capoeira instruments. The series provides a foundation for entering the ongoing classes offered by ABADA-CAPOEIRA OC, and an introduction to the art, music, and history of capoeira.
You won’t find a better full-body workout in town! You can make-up one class missed during the series at our on-going classes.

CAPOEIRA FOR BEGINNERS
For new students, training focuses on basic capoeira techniques and skills (defense, attack and in-betweens) and it is aimed at increasing coordination, flexibility and strength. Absolute beginners are welcome to join this class any time.
